Et tjuetalls nobelprisvinnere krever at FN stopper den humanitære krisen hvor 50.000 personer av den muslimske minoriteten rohingya er drevet på flukt i Myanmar.<\/p>\n

I et åpent brev til FNs sikkerhetsråd skriver de 23 prisvinnerne «at en menneskelig tragedie tilsvarende etnisk rensing og forbrytelser mot menneskeheten utspiller seg i Myanmar».<\/strong>De kritiserer landets leder Aung San Suu Kyi – som selv har vunnet Nobels fredspris – for å ikke gjøre nok for å beskytte rohingyaene.<\/p>\n
